Our Vision & Values

Our vision is that all may know the fullness of Jesus (John 10:10b). We live this out by sharing hope, investing in the next generation, building authentic relationships, and developing strong leaders—because at New Life, it’s all about the ALL.

Share

hope to our world.

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitatlity.”

Romans 12:12-13 NIV

Invest

in the next generation.

“So, the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.”

Psalm 78:6 NIV

Build

authentic relationships

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV

Develop

strong leaders.

“He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.”

Titus 1:9 NIV

Our Beliefs

New Life Community Church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God (AG). The AG has 16 Tenets of Faith. To learn more, we encourage you to visit the Assemblies of God website.

  • The Scriptures Inspired

The Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and reveal His truth to humanity, serving as the trustworthy and authoritative guide for what we believe and how we live.

    2 Timothy 3:15-17

    1 Thessalonians 2:13

    2 Peter 1:21

  • The One True God

There is one true God, eternally self-existent, Creator of heaven and earth, and Redeemer of humanity. He has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, existing in a perfect relationship of unity and love.

    Deuteronomy 6:4

    Isaiah 43:10–11

    Matthew 28:19

    Luke 3:22

  • The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Scripture affirms His virgin birth, sinless life, and miraculous ministry; His sacrificial death on the cross for our salvation; His bodily resurrection from the dead; and His exaltation at the right hand of God.

    Matthew 1:23

    Luke 1:31, 35

    Hebrews 7:26

    1 Peter 2:22

    Etc.

  • The Fall of Man

Humanity was created good and in God’s image, but through willful disobedience, sin entered the world, bringing both physical death and spiritual separation from God.

    Genesis 1:26–27

    Genesis 2:17

    Genesis 3:6

    Romans 5:12–19

  • The Salvation of Man

Humanity’s only hope of redemption is found through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance and faith in Jesus, brought about by the work of the Holy Spirit and justified by grace, resulting in new life and the hope of eternity. The inward evidence of salvation is the witness of the Holy Spirit, and the outward evidence is a life marked by righteousness and holiness.

    Luke 24:47

    John 3:3

    Romans 10:13–15

    Ephesians 2:8

    Etc.

  • The Ordinances of the Church

    Baptism in Water

Water baptism by immersion is a biblical command for all who repent and place their faith in Jesus Christ. Through baptism, believers publicly declare that they have died with Christ and have been raised to live a new life in Him.

    Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47–48; Romans 6:4

    Holy Communion

Holy Communion, consisting of bread and the fruit of the vine, is a sacred act of remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death, a celebration of our shared life in Him, and a proclamation of His return. It is observed by believers as an ongoing expression of faith until He comes again.

    2 Peter 1:4; 1 Corinthians 11:26

  • The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

All believers are invited to receive and earnestly seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, as promised by the Father and taught by Jesus. This experience, distinct from salvation, empowers believers for life and service through the gifts of the Spirit. With it come a deeper fullness of the Spirit, greater reverence for God, increased dedication to His work, and a stronger love for Christ, His Word, and those who do not yet know Him.

    Luke 24:49

    Acts 1:4, 8

    Acts 8:12–17

    Acts 10:44–46

    Etc.

  • The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit enables the believer. This expression of tongues is similar in nature to the spiritual gift of tongues but differs in purpose and function.

    Acts 2:4

    1 Corinthians 12:4–10, 28

  • Santification

Sanctification is the process of being set apart from sin and devoted to God, made possible through the power of the Holy Spirit. As believers identify with Christ in His death and resurrection, they are called to live holy lives, continually yielding every part of themselves to God as they grow in obedience and Christlikeness.

    Romans 12:1–2

    1 Thessalonians 5:23

    Hebrews 12:14

    Hebrews 13:12

    Etc.

  • The Church and its Mission

The Church is the Body of Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit to worship God, grow in Christlikeness, share the gospel, and demonstrate His love to the world. As an Assemblies of God church, we emphasize the baptism in the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers to live, serve, and minister with spiritual power.

    Ephesians 1:22–23

    Ephesians 2:22

    Matthew 28:19–20

    Acts 1:8

    Etc.

  • The Ministry

God has established a divinely called and biblically appointed ministry to lead the Church in sharing the gospel, worshiping Him, building believers into the likeness of Christ, and meeting human needs through love and compassion.

    Mark 16:15–20

    John 4:23–24

    Ephesians 4:11–16

    Psalm 112:9

    Etc.

  • Divine Healing

Divine healing is a vital part of the gospel. Healing from sickness is provided through Christ’s atoning work and is available to all believers through faith and prayer.

    Isaiah 53:4–5

    Matthew 8:16–17

    James 5:14–16

  • The Blessed Hope

We believe in the resurrection of those who have died in Christ and the future transformation of believers who are alive at His return. This promised return of the Lord is the blessed and hopeful expectation of the Church.

    1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

    Romans 8:23

    Titus 2:13

    1 Corinthians 15:51–52

  • The Millennial Reign of Christ

We believe in the second coming of Christ, which includes the rapture of believers and the visible return of Jesus to reign on earth for a thousand years. This future reign will bring restoration to Israel and establish peace and justice throughout the world.

    Zechariah 14:5

    Matthew 24:27, 30

    Revelation 1:7

    Revelation 19:11–14

    Etc.

  • The Final Judgement

We believe there will be a final judgment in which the dead will be raised and judged according to God’s justice. Those whose names are not found in the Book of Life will face eternal separation from God, described in Scripture as the second death.

    Matthew 25:46

    Mark 9:43–48

    Revelation 19:20

    Revelation 20:11–15

    Etc.

  • The New Heavens and the New Earth

We look forward to the fulfillment of God’s promise of a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells and God’s people will live forever in His presence.

    2 Peter 3:13

    Revelation 21–22
