Here’s What You Need to Know About New Life Students

FAQs

For more questions, contact Pastor Ron below!

  • What age range is included in this ministry?

New Life Students is comprised of grades 6-12!

  • Do I need to bring anything?

Students don’t need to bring much -- just themselves and a heart ready to learn and have fun! We encourage bringing a Bible and a notebook if you’d like to follow along with lessons or jot down thoughts. Occasionally, special events may require items (like theme night outfits or trip essentials), and those will always be communicated in advance.

  • How can parents/guardians stay informed?

Parents/guardians can stay connected through Sunday service announcements and updates on our Instagram and Facebook @ashlandnewlifestudents. Pastor Ron also shares information directly with families through emails and sends home papers with students, ensuring everyone is informed about upcoming events and opportunities.

  • What special events happen during the year?

In addition to weekly Student Nights and bi-weekly Small Groups, New Life Students hosts special events throughout the year -- like theme nights and seasonal celebrations. We also plan trips such as Reach Conference, Summer Camp, and mission opportunities that give students the chance to grow deeper in faith, build friendships, and experience God in new ways.

  • How do I register for special events?

All of our event registration is run through Realm. You can find all sign-up links by logging into your Realm account.

  • What should I wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that’s easy to move in for games and activities. From time to time, we’ll have theme nights or special events that call for certain outfits, and you’ll be notified in advance so you can come prepared.
